Q:  Q: What happens if the IRS forms change while I am processing a tax settlement?
A:  A: Our staff is on the cutting edge of all IRS changes and developments. So we will immediately modify the IRS forms in our system to reflect any new revisions from the IRS. Simply reprint the form that has been revised.
Q:  Q: Can I process an IRS tax settlement electronically?
A:  A: All client information and forms can be compiled electronically. However, the IRS only accepts hard copies of all documentation with an original signature (no photocopies).
Q:  Q: Can I email a copy of the IRS form(s) to my clients?
A:  A: Yes, the IRS form(s) can be mailed to your client electronically. It will be an encrypted PDF that will require them to enter their SS# to open the attachment. However, the IRS will only accept hard copy submissions with an original signature (no photocopies).
Q:  Q: Does the software license expire?
A:  A: The PitBullTax license is a one month or one year renewable. If you are on an annual plan you will receive an email notification 31 days prior to your license expiration date, and your license will be automatically renewed on your renewal date. If you are on a monthly plan, you will receive an email notification 3 days prior to renewal, and your card will be automatically charged for the next period unless you cancel the license.
Q:  Q: How often are new releases / updates of the software issued?
A:  A: New releases / updates are issued as necessary per IRS changes and / or product revisions and enhancements. Any time the software is revised, there is an email announcement sent to all licensees as well as a pop-up notification to users when they access their login.
Q:  Q: Are there discounts for existing customers?
A:  A: There are promotions and specials through out the year that are sent out primarily by email. Be sure to keep your email address on file with us to receive those notifications by subscribing to our newsletters.
Q:  Q: How to enable cookies in browsers IE 9.x or Higher?
A:  A: Windows IE 9.x or higher Browser Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button Click the Tools button , and then click Internet options Click the Privacy tab, and then, under Settings, move the slider to the top to block all cookies or to the bottom to allow all cookies, and then click OK.
Q:  Q: How to enable cookies in browsers Firefox?
A:  A: For Windows: Click the menu button and choose Preferences. Set Firefox will: to Use custom settings for history. Check mark Accept cookies from sites to enable Cookies, and uncheck it to disable them. If you are troubleshooting problems with cookies, make sure Accept third party cookies is also not set to Never. For Mac: Go to the Firefox drop-down menu.Select Preferences. Click Privacy. Set "Firefox will:" to Use custom settings for history. Check the box next to "Accept cookies from sites" to enable cookies. Click OK.
Q:  Q: How to enable javascript in browsers?
A:  A: Internet Explorer ver 9+: Open Internet Explorer. From the Tools menu, click Internet Options. From the Security tab, click on the Internet icon. Click Custom Level. Scroll to the Scripting section and enable Active Scripting. Click OK. Finally, click OK on the main Internet Options box. Close and re-open your browser. Firefox: Open Firefox. From the Tools menu, click Options. Click on the Content icon. Check the box next to Enable JavaScript. Click the Advanced button to open the Advanced JavaScript Options box. Check the appropriate boxes under Allow Scripts To section. Click OK. Close and re-open your browser. Google Chrome: Open Google Chrome. Click on the Menu button on the top right corner of the screen (it looks like three horizontal lines). Click Settings. Scroll down and click on Show advanced settings... (in blue). Under Privacy, click on Content Settings. In the Content Settings window, within the JavaScript section, select Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended). Click Done. Close and re-open your browser. Safari: Open Safari. On the Safari menu, click on Preferences. Click on the Security icon. If it is not checked, click on Enable JavaScript next to the Web Content section. Close the Preferences window. Close and re-open your browser.

A:  A: Yes. You can use PitBullTax Software on any Mac or Apple product including iPad. It is compatible with Safari or any other web browser.
