By request of many licensees PitBullTax Software has now added the ability to create a list of IRS Contacts that you work with on a day-to-day basis.

We hope that you'll find this new feature helpful and user-friendly.

Here are some guidelines on how to use this new feature.

  • In the Client Profile you will now see a new section "IRS Contacts". When creating/editing a client you can add new contact or select existing one, if you've previously added it for any other client. You can also add additional information about the contact that can help you addressing his/her personality appropriately. For example, "doesn't like the idea of getting complimentary Starbucks coffee at the meeting with a representative" :-). Every time you add new IRS contact, it is automatically saved to your IRS Contacts list.
  • In the left menu you'll see new item "IRS Contacts", right under "Businesses". Here you can search for the IRS contact by any information you remember about him/her (name, phone number, IRS office, etc.), just start typing in first few characters in the "Contact Search" field.
  • In the blue menu bar under "Clients" there is a new section "IRS Contacts" as well. You can add a new contact here directly or search for an existing contact. Please note that you can customize the columns you'll see in the table for your IRS Contacts (just click "Edit table columns" button and remove/add/drag-and-drop fields to your liking). When adding new contact from this page you'll be able to associate a contact with multiple clients as well.
  • If the list of IRS contacts titles provided by default is not sufficient, you can customize it and change sort order for your account only. To do so, go to Settings > IRS Contacts Settings and drag and drop titles in the list to your liking. You can also add new titles or delete existing ones, if you never use them.

We highly recommend to refresh memory in your browser by clicking on Ctrl + F5 keys on your keyboard when you are logged in to your software account to bring forward this update. Alternatively you can also clear browser cache by using these steps.
